Location:
The Hyderabad Central University is located in Hyderabad of Telangana state. The
university is also known as University of Hyderabad.The Hyderabad city is the capital of Telangana.
The city is surrounded by Telugu people. However, most of the people here can speak Telugu, Hindi
and English. You can get a variety of food items in this city. The city is comfortable for all kinds of
people across the country.
Courses:
The University provides a rich number of courses. The various courses include:
- Under Graduation
- Graduation
- Post Graduation
- P hd and M.phil
- Integrated courses
Most of the Under graduation courses are Integrated courses, it means you should complete
both UG and PG. However through JEE you can get into B.Tech course. But for rest of the courses
you should complete UG and PG within this University only. So the various courses are
B.com + M.com
B.A + M.A.
B.Sc + M.Sc
B.Tech + M.Tech
If you have already completed your under graduation. You can directly join PG courses.
The various PG courses available are MBA,M.com,M.Sc,M.A literature etc. P hd and M.Phil courses
are also available in this university.
Tuition Fee:
For most of the courses the tuition fee is very less say 6000 to 20000. However, for MBA the
tuition fee is somewhat higher you can get the complete details of Tuition fee in the YouTube video.
Hostel free:
The hostel fee is not same for everyone. The fee is less to the students who are from SC,ST
communities. So let's see the details now

Entrance Test:
The University every year conducts a entrance test with separate papers for different streams.
Last date to apply for the academic year 2020-21 is May 22. A student can apply for any number of
courses provided he is eligible and no overlapping of exam dates. The language of exam is English
excluding language specialization courses.
Reservations:
The University accordance with the MHRD has issued the following reservations in the
intake of seats:
- SC ------ 15%
- ST ------ 7.5%
- OBC ----- 27%
- EWS ----- 10%
- PWD ----- 5%
- wards/dependants of defence ---- 5%
- A maximum of 15% foreign nationals
Pattern:
The exam pattern is OMR based for most of the courses.
For MBA it is OMR plus GD and Interview.
For phd and M.Phil it is OMR plus Answer script.
Syllabus:
The syllabus is generally a grade less than the one you are going to admit into.
Preparation :
Prepare from NCERT textbooks and IGNOU books and also refer Telugu academy books.
